Community Involvement

At Adirondack Bank, community involvement has always been a top priority.  The bank is a proud supporter of many community events and charitable organizations in each of the communities that we serve.  Our annual contribution and sponsorship dollars support various groups and activities such as the arts, education, youth and sports as well as economic development and social services just to name a few.  In 2017, Adirondack Bank's contribution and sponsorship dollars totaled approximately 5% of the bank's net income.  The diagram below shows the distribution of those funds in 2017.

In addition, we are proud of the participation and support that our employees provide to the communities in which we serve.  Every year, thousands of hours are contributed to civic groups, not-for-profit organizations, senior citizen groups, and youth organizations.  We continually strive to find better ways to serve, to contribute, and to make a difference.  We recognize our role beyond that of a provider of products and services and see ourselves as a true resource to the people and the communities that we serve.
